Known as the ‘King of the crafts’ the blacksmith has, through the annals of time, made tools for both himself and other craftsmen. Most of the tooling that you will need during your tenure as a blacksmith cannot be bought and so must be made.
Why buy something for $10 or $20 from an antique store when you can make it for five times that price plus the many hours of frustration. Before the wall of fame comes the pile of shame!
Tongs, bottom tools, scrolling wrenches, hammer or punch along with a host of hand tools make the cornerstone for this course. You will be the envy of your peers when this course is under your belt.
